Ryan Stewart Ryan Stewart
Ryan Stewart is a Platform Evangelist for Adobe Systems. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Economics he started in the workforce by building eLearning rich Internet applications in Flex 1.5 and ColdFusion 7 for the Wharton School of Business. He is a long time blogger and had a prominent blog on ZDNet where he covered all aspects of the RIA world. He has spoken at a number of industry conferences including Web 2.0 Expo, Adobe MAX, 360|Flex, and Web Design World. When not working with the latest Adobe technology you can find him in Seattle where he enjoys making beer, mountaineering, and spending as much time as possible in the outdoors.

Andre Michelle Andre Michelle
Starting about 10 years ago in Flash4 as an autodidact, Andre Michelle repeatedly pushed the limits of Flash possibilities. He is now working as chief developer of an online music application in Flash10.

The tiniest change coming with the Flashplayer 10 should have huge impact of future Flash applications. You can now create high-quality audio and/or manipulate sounds in runtime! That opens up a lot of new possibilities and should be considered in every kind of project. Besides it is fun! Andre Michelle takes you on a tour through digital audio processing and shows you the pitfalls and their workarounds when it comes to Flash.

Mark Barcinski Mark Barcinski
A self taught programmer stared working in the interactive industry in 1999. After working and on wild variety of projects on various platforms, Flash and Actionscript (flash 5 back then) has become his main focus and it never changed ever since.

In 2007 Mark co-founded award winning Barcinski and Jeanjean with his old time friend and colleague after years of working and freelancing together.

Always looking for challenges for himself in 2008 Mark created VectorVision, an add-on for papervision and shortly after he joined the Papervision team.

He will be presenting Papervision3D along with his latest 3D projects.

Peter Elst Peter Elst
Peter Elst is a freelance Flash Platform consultant who is passionate about rich Internet application development. As an Adobe Community Expert and certified instructor, he spends a lot of his time on the road doing consultancy and training on ActionScript 3.0, Flash, Flex, and AIR, and speaking at various industry events. Elst has had his work published in leading magazines and is the author of several books, including "Object-Oriented ActionScript 3.0" (Friends of ED). Marco Casario
Marco Casario has been passionate about informatics since he was little more than a child. Since 2001, he has produced and headed a long series of presentations, conferences and articles, which you can find listed in detail in his blog entitled “hands on Adobe world”.            

In 2005, Marco founded Comtaste, a company dedicated to exploring new frontiers in Rich Internet Applications and the convergence between the web. Recent works include MobyMobile and YouThru.

He is also the author of the following book projects:

holds the position of Rich Internet Application Evangelist for Roundbox Global. Leif has twenty years of experience in the interactive industry and has been actively involved in the Atlanta, GA USA interactive community throughout. Leif is the Flex Authority Editor-in-Chief and as well as the manager of the Adobe User Group of Atlanta and the Adobe Flash Platform User Group of Atlanta.

Adobe is making strides in development of their new product Adobe Flash Catalyst, their "professional interaction design tool for rapidly creating user interfaces without coding." In this session, Leif Wells will be stepping you through a demo that will take you through the designer developer work flow --- starting from approved Illustrator designs through interaction design in Flash Catalyst to a fully developed application in Flash Builder.

Stefan Wessels Stefan Wessels, co-founder and technical architect of emerging media company Breakdesign.com has been working in the creative/technical environment since 1997.

Breakdesign, with core team based in Singapore, is a a multi-award winning research & development studio creating games and applications for the mass and early adopter market, as well as building mobile applications and niche community platforms. They regularly consult to creative agencies & technology providers who come to them to help plan and successfully execute first-to-market concepts on emerging platforms.

Their clients include Nokia, Adobe, American Express, Johnny Walker, Sony Ericsson, MTV, Diesel, Tiger Beer and other leading brands across various platforms spread across the globe.

Currently Breakdesign is being funded by Adobe and Nokia to create the next generation Flash Lite mobile gaming platform

Stefano Virgilli
Stefano has an Italian degree in communication design and moved to Singapore 2 and a half years. Since 2003 he has been teaching mostly 2D graphic design and photography post production. Later on, he further specialized in video editing, 2D and 2.5D animation.



Besides the solid background in training, he also owned an advertisement agency in Italy, from 2004 to 2007. That placed him in the position of combining theory to practical work experience.
Michael Plank
Michael Plank is technology evangelist and software developer at Powerflasher, Germanyʼs
largest multimedia agency specialised in Flash. Michael has been hooked on creating
interactive applications with Flash since version 4. During his studies in digital media he worked
with several programming languages but concentrated on his favourite: ActionScript. One of his
many talents is his ability to work with a very mixed audience and impart his knowledge about
software and game development using ActionScript. Michael frequently teaches at the Upper
Austria University of Applied Sciences in Hagenberg, speaks at international conferences and
offers a variety of lectures and training sessions.

The FDT team, the creators of the flash community recognized development tool for professional ActionScript and MXML developers, is going to introduce the ultimate development environment setup, based on their research, consulting and development experience at their powerflasher agency parent company.

Mohammed Khan Mohammed Khan
Mohammed Khan is an RUA (Rich Unified Applications) evangelist who specializes in design and implementation of enterprise grade applications. As Project Director of Enterprise Systems at Esberi Technologies Pvt. Ltd., he and his team designed and build enterprise applications using technologies like Adobe Flex and Adobe LiveCycle for MNCs. He is an active blogger and maintains a blog called The Pixel Code, where he shares his experience on UI design to data driven application development. Also he is the Google Tech User Group Manager (GTUG – Hyderabad) and regularly conducts workshops and speaks at Adobe User Group meetings in India. Off late he has been working on to develop the Rich Unified Application theory, and believes that in coming years it will be all about Unified Application Development. Alvin Zhang Alvin Zhang
Alvin Zhang is perpetually interested in the interaction between people and technology. He believes that RIA is a great vehicle that can improve how people interact with content. His other interests are multitouch technology, photography and film and he has an attraction to everything Japanese though he can’t speak the language. Alvin is an Adobe Certified Expert on Photoshop, Acrobat and Flash and works at Interactive Singapore, a new media ventures company.
